Corner jacks question

In my owner's manual it says to "extend the lower leg with the jack handle in the rear hole" I can't find a jack handle - can I use something else. Also, I'm not sure where this rear hole is. On a side note, what happened to the technical forums? I can't see them this morning? Thanks
