Armed with the VIN from my old Town & Country, that I used to use as the TV for my TM, I found that it was a 3.8L V6 18hp 4-speed auto. Towing capacity was:

Base Curb Weight 4178 lbs 4178.0 min 4178.0 max
Dead Weight Hitch - Max Trailer Wt. 3500, 2000 lbs 2000.0 min 3500.0 max Dead Weight Hitch - Max Tongue Wt. 350, 200 lbs 200.0 min 350.0 max

It had a trailer tow package which included heavy duty suspension, heavy duty front disk/rear drum brakes, and heavay duty transmission oil cooler.

Hmmm, I had no idea the towing capacity was that low, yet it handled the TM just fine....
