Drain valves leak
The two small fresh water drain valves (above the larger grey and black water drain valves) on my TM are leaking and need to be replaced. These two valves appear to be cemented onto rigid PVC pipe, unlike the third small drain valve which is hose-clamped onto a flexible nylon? hose. How do I replace them?

Sounds like those valves weren't opened and drained before winter, and they froze and cracked.
A quick and easy thing that might work (but probably won't). Put some pressure into the water system (either a water supply hose or the water pump), open and close the valves a few times, and let some water whoosh out. If there is grit in the valve, this would wash it out.

Dennis -
This question comes up about once a year. Try using the Search tool on the word "drain" or "valve" (or both). You will find some good discussion, including specific descriptions of how to remove and replace the valves.

Looked for several hours after searching 'drain' and 'valve' with no luck on how to replace then. Do you know of a specific link?

Sorry I didn't notice earlier. The problem is that you let your membership expire. As a result, you have lost your access to most of the forum (so you can't search it, and couldn't follow the results even if you could). This was all outlined when you initially signed up as a Trial Member, but a lot of folks skip over that part, and the Forum doesn't harass you about it.
To see most of the forum, you need to become a Site Sponsor. The Sponsorship fee for full access is $12 a year, and most members consider it a very good investment - often referred to as "the best $12 you'll ever spend". For details, go to this post

They are probably all attached to PEX piping with a crimped ring. That's the way it is on my 2004 3023. I cut the PEX above the ring with a razor blade, pulled off the valve, and slipped on a Shark Bite valve. Be careful to leave enough piping for something to connect to it. The Shark Bite valve is more expensive than one that requires a crimp ring, but avoids the need for a PEX crimper, which is even more expensive. Shark Bite wants a clean and smooth end to slip onto, so you might have to trim the pipe a bit after cutting.

Thanks Bill, I subscribed today.
Thanks Bruce for the info on the drain valves. Could you direct me to what Shark Bite valve to use? Thanks

You have to measure the diameter of the PEX tubing. The valve looks like this, and you can get it with a different handle. They are available in hardware stores, not just online. Make sure you install it so that there is clearance to turn the handle. You may also be able to find a plastic one.
Shark Bite can be removed after installation without damaging the pipe. You just need a little plastic ring that costs $3 or less and is pushed against the fitting, which releases the pipe.
