Door hits awning frame
I have a 2004 3124KS with a factory awning.
When the awning is extended and has any degree of downslope at all, the top of the door hits the awning frame arms when you open it. The only way to open the door fully is to open it before you extend the awning, unhook and lock open the top of the dutch door and use only the lower half of the door.
Am I missing something here?

Ours does that too. You don't want to keep the awning so low that the door hits the arms. We put the slope on the other side (front of trailer side) of the awning if we need any for rain run-off. Our awning when set up usually is at the point where it just has enough clearance so the door opens.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Our door has the roller on it, I guess I just didn't raise the awning high enough and I will use your suggestion to just lower the front edge a bit.

My used TM came with that wheel attached, so I thought it was standard equipment. I guess the previous owners added that on. I didn't know why it was on there until I opened the awning for the 1st time.

We've got the wheel on our door too, so it's probably standard equipment. I don't know if all older models have it though, but I'm guessing they do. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Ours came with the rolling wheel also. I have another one on hand (somewhere) If some one needs one for free p.m. and I will mail it to you.

Ours didn't come with a wheel...sounds like we should get one.

I'll guess I'll have to put that on my list for the next time we go there....we usually go once a year to buy something.
