Default Towing with Gray Water Tank Full

Just a question for the forum: Has anybody (else) had problems with gray water tank damage caused by driving (long distance) with the tank full?

I experienced this with our old 95 3326, and since have adopted the policy of emptying that tank before traveling. I'm wondering though, if it's just me....

I have done it a few times. We only had a TM since Feb this year. I'm rethinking it, since hearing about you issue.

We just came home and traveled about 150 miles with 20 gallons of gray water on the trailer. I didn't have any problems, but I don't want to have any in the future and will think about finding a dump station earlier next time.

The potential for damage would depend a lot on road conditions you encounter. Bumpy roads with a full tank would put more stress on the tank mounts.

The only time I didn't empty was when the tank was slushy/frozen. Had to get back to GA to thaw out.

No problems for us, but we have a KOA just down the road at home where we can dump when we get home.

What's leaking?

We have a 1997 and never any issues other than overfilling.
