Black goop on the bathroom wall
I have black goop that shows up in the bathroom below the window with the TM set up. I cleaned it up several times. But it continues to re-appear. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Joe -
Is there any black goop on the outside wall of the TM, on the main shell and somewhere near the outside refrigerator hatch? I'm thinking maybe something is coming off the wiring harness that runs up the lift arm, smearing onto the side of the TM, and then being picked up by the bathroom wall when you collapse the TM. There is black electrical tape there, as well as some material covering the wiring bundle. Or perhaps a glob of road tar.

Check the rubber seal between the fixed and sliding window parts. After the seal is inserted, they seal the joint with a black sealing compound. Heat or other environmental issues may cause it to run down the wall. If not the sealant , could be pollen/dust that is running down the inside. Check the weep holes on the outside bottom of the windows. If I understand, it is only when the TM is set up.

Black Goop
I did not make it clear.
The black goop is inside the TM on the bed slides below the bathroom window. I've cleaned the slides multiple times without success. Looks like it it from the friction of the slides. Anyone else noticed a problem in this area?

Aah
That is most likely aluminum oxide dust. Check to make sure you have no metal to metal contact. Check slides and screws or staples that hold them. Lubricating it just makes the dust into liquid and it will run. You can lift up the bed from inside and look at the rails and bottom of the bed.

Black Goop
Thanks, I'll take a look at the bottom of the bed slides.

Bed slides on a Trail Manor
I found that the under side of the bed slide was bare aluminum. I also found out that there is a fiberglass strip that can be attached to the under side of the bed to prevent the aluminum from oxidising. I have replaced the strips on one bed and will do the other tomorrow. I want to thank B_and_D and Brian from TrailManor for their help.
Cutting and gluing the strips was a pain. But, it should eliminate the black goop.
