Default Battery

Our battery has never charged properly. It always burns out the fuse. Is that a converter problem.

If the fuse only burns when you plug into AC, then I'd say there is either a problem with the converter itself or the connections going from the converter to the battery. Those wires may be shorted, causing the fuse to blow as soon as you plug in the converter. You don't say which model TM you have, but the first thing I'd do is inspect and trace those wires.

Does the TM operate on battery without any problems?

Do you still have the glass tube type fuse? They can cause problems. If so, replace it with the inline blade type. Chances are that will take care of your problem.

What size fuse? It should be a 30A.
