Default Recirc toilet fuses

I don't know if anyone else has experienced blown fuses in their recirc toilet or not, but I did over my holiday trip. >

Today I went out and bought a 6 amp 12vdc re-setting circuit breaker from Cole Hersee ($2) and will wire it in place of the TM installed 5 amp fuse.

From now on, I won't have to worry too much about my toilet! :-X May have to worry about other circuits, but hey... First come first served. And given the prominence and importance of the instrument in question - what would you do?  ;D

Default Re: Recirc toilet fuses

The terlit fuse prob has been discussed ad-infinitum nearly a year ago. TM recommend replacing the 5 amp fues with a minimum 7.5 amp (or maybe 8 amp) fuse. I used a 10 amp fuse. No problems.

Seems the starting current demand of the pump can exceed 5 amps on ocassion. The higher amp fuse eliminates the problem.
