Do you think a 2002 2720SL is worth 19,950$

Shanons,

More info please. New or used? Condition? Location? Dealer or private?

That is about a thousand more than we paid for our '02 2720, a little over a year ago. But then we are in Texas, resale here is a little depressed from other parts of the world.

I'm not shy about saying what I paid for the TM. The 2001 2720SL that I bought new cost 20,000. I sold it this year for 15,000. Well worth the money. The 1999 3326 I bought for 14,000.

I think you have a good price if it is new with all options, and you may haggle (good choice of words ;D)it down another 1,000 if it is used.

I always like to remember that I will some day be the seller and want a fair price. Just my 2 pesos.

$19,950 is probably a reasionable asking price for a dealer reselling a used unit. Is a little high for a private party sale. I paid $21K for a '02 2720SL in Oct. '02 during the 2002 model year end closeout sale. List on the unit was approx. $26K.

Take a look at www.nadaguides.com You can get a good estimate of the value of the trailer there.

I bought the 2001 2720SL that Chris_Bauer sold this April in Texas for his asking price of $15K. I thought (and still do) that it was a fair price. If I were you, I would try to negotiate the price to $17,500.00.

Seems a tad high to me too. I bought a year old, 2001 model 2619 last summer for $16,000.

If it has all the options, is in excellent condition, and is coming from a dealer, perhaps you can negotiate down to around $18,500?

Just my thought.
