Default Matching The Finish Of A Dent Repair

Hello,

I have a small linear dent in a side shell on my TM. I plan to fill it with Bondo auto filler and leveling the surface even. Does anyone have any better ideas on how to repair a dent?

My bigger concern is how I can match the surface color and finish after I level the dent with the Bondo. Anyone have experience with matching color and finish on a TM? Even ideas would be appreciated.

Thank you for the help,

Phil

If the dent is cosmetic, personally I would leave it alone. The trailer shell is an aluminum skin, so rust will not be an issue. Trying to match the surface texture and color will be difficult, and you may find the dent more noticeable when you are done.
