Winterizing

1st time travel trailer Trail Mini owner. I have emptied all the water from my unit; do I need to do anything else for the winter? Also, if I use the unit this winter, can I use water in the unit (emptying after each outing) if the temp ranges between 0 and 32 F

I like to pour RV antifreeze solution down the sink and shower drains, and in the toilet and water storage tank. With the water tank inside the camper, you might get away with filling it with water if you don't spend too much time traveling. The gray water and black water tanks, however, are outside the heated space and can freeze. Some motor homes heat these tanks to prevent this problem.

There are winterizng instructions in the Owners Manual. The Mini shouldn't be too different from the collapsibles, where winterizing is quite easy. Pay particular attention to the indoor and outdoor shower heads, and the kitchen sink sprayer.
