My new-to-me year 2014 size 2417KD comes with an electric switch just inside the doorway to slide out the dinette under the front shell. But it does not work -- I can hear a motor running, but nothing moves.
I can push or pull the dinette into place, but sometimes it has resistance, and I hear a whine as if I am forcing an electric motor to turn. (Sometimes no such whine and no resistance.)
Does anyone have an electric slide-out? Where underneath should I look for linkage?
There's one switch you have to press and hold while you press the other In / Out switch. Just checking... are you pressing both?
Yes, I noticed that. Another clever TM engineering point --"Are you sure you want to do this, and you're not just pressing this switch by accident?"
When I press only one switch, nothing happens. When I press both switches, either out or in, nothing happens except I hear a motor whirring, but no movement.
