Unhappy City Water Problem

I have one for you. It should be a no brainer...but! We hooked up to city water this past weekend in Lava Hot Springs. Guess what, no water at the tap or in the shower. I left the sink valves open for 2-3 minutes but nothing! Anyone have any ideas? I looked under the couch and didn't see anything like pinched lines or anything. This should be the easiest hookup of all and it is befuddling.

I tried using the 20 gal onboard tank as well. The pump make a lot of noise and then just seemed to stop. I have not tried to see if fuse blew as yet but the system never worked. Any ideas on this? Very frustrating when you are cooking and have to haul water, heat it up, etc.

thanks!

Next step. If the pump ran and then stopped, it would indicate that pressure built up in the system as is proper. So no water flow would indicate a constriction somewhere.

Or it might indicate that the drain valves under the TM are open, and water was pouring onto the ground as fast as you were putting it into the trailer?

Default Water problems

I did check that there was H2o from the outside line. I had a pressure reducer on the line as well as I understand that frequently the pressure is too great for the system..

I DID find the problem however...after thinking what I would suspect IF this were inside my home. I checked the screen in the faucet! Guess what...full of small encrustations! I cleaned well and put in vinegar for about 10 minutes. That week acid solution did the trick and I now have H2o at the tap!!!

bgecoli,

You don't say how old your TM is, but I wonder if there could be a bunch of sediment in the water heater and when you put the city water it agitated it and ended up in your faucet screens???

Here is a thread from last month about sediment in the water heater...
