Default Anode Rod on old (1990) 3023?

Anyone know how to get to the anode rod on the older models?  Does it even have one?  The hot water heater drain is through a small petcock valve on the outside.

Thanks

There should also be a drain on the heater itself.

It will look like a nut near the base of the heater, to one side of the burner.

I don't know when they started using anode rods on the RV water heaters.  My starcraft water heater was not equipped with one.

My next quest will be to get a drainable anode rod, so I can drain the heater completely between trips.  Unfortunately the petcock on the outside of my trailer does not drain the water heater.

No, I know EXACTLY where it is, look under your sink on the INSIDE of the TM, you will see it, it's even labeled! It will be near the top of the water heater off to the left of the water outlet. (Towards the rear of your TM). You can use the longer suburban water anode to replace it.....(I did, 8-10" long). Hope this helps!
