Default Can't believe I just......

......bought a TUNDRA today. Vintage 2000 (a prewar yr), but still a TUNDRA!

Now what the heck am I going to do with it, beside hauling landscaping mulch and stone?

Depends on how DW's new knee works out. Could be trailering again some day in the ______ future (a. near b. far c. never). At least I'm set up to tow sumpin'. Spring hopes eternal!

Congrats! Good Choice!!! Great to have yet another Tundra owner here at TMO!

Next step is to join several of us over at TundraSolutions (largest Toyota owners website on the planet). Tons (I mean literally tons) of great information on how to maintain and improve your truck on that site. And as the moderator of the TundraSolutions towing forum, I'd certainly welcome your contributions to the towing discussions.

Oooooh... I forgot. It's a TRD too. With a TRD intake manifold (sumpin' like that) installed by the previous, meticulous owner.

I'll check it out. Tundra Solutions, that is.

I guess we'll know what trailer you've bought when you post what you've bought....but it sounds promising. Is there a hitch?

First there was a truck...we opted for a Chevy (it was used, and within our budget), but those Tundras sure are nice...

Then there was the hitch and the Bargeman connector and the brake controller.

Then we went to look at a full-sized trailer. Luckily, someone bought it 20 minutes before we got there.

Then we went home, and I discovered TM's and this forum on the internet!

Then it took a few months to find the perfect used one for us (within our budget).

And then we had our TM!

I'd go nuts if I couldn't go camping.

And I much prefer the TM to sleeping in a tent.

Have you been camping since you had your TM?

Full towing package. Don't yet know if the previous owner installed the wiring for a brake controller.

Not. We've been renting cabins a week at a time and driving to the location, or flying to locations where we can use my Navy retiree benefits (Navy Lodge). I retired from an airline, so we pay very little to fly. But.......it ain't the same as a trailer
