Default Power when toilet is removed

I have a very high respect for electricity, and take "safety first" to a whole new level when dealing with it. My toilet is currently removed from my TM, due to the remodel, and I am not going to reinstall it for the trip this weekend. The electricity (shore power & battery) were disconnected prior to removing it, and hasn't been reconnected since. Not having the toilet installed for a 4 day camping trip isn't an issue, as I have a cassette toilet left over from my Coleman pop-up days, that I can put in the bathroom for this trip. My question is, can I safely reconnect power (both shore & battery), while the toilet control box is just hanging there, not connected to anything? I know we have a few electrical experts on here that won't steer me wrong. Thanks!

Certainly. If you disconnected any wiring, and you would NOT have had to do so if you just removed that box on the back of the toilet and pulled the motor out, just put a wire nut, or some electrical tape, on each of the leads of the bare wires.

Okay - that's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure that there wasn't something else lurking.... ha ha Thanks!

There is no high voltage in the toilet, just 12 volts. Jewelery off or glove over any rings that won't come off while working with 12 volts.
