Most of what the pictures show is cosmetic. Make sure that it opens and closes without any issues. Carefully inspect the interior for water damage and like others have said, make sure all of the components are operational.

Interesting damage. Something really put that roof sidewall in a bind. You can see where the arm has creased the side wall in an arc pattern. The bottom rail has been removed, straightened, replaced and resealed. There is red paint mark on the lift arm?
Possibly it was damaged due to a minor fender bender when the roof was down. I agree, cosmetic in nature and if repaired by a competent technician, would be a non issue for me. Price would have to reflect the damage. Issues like these call into question other aspects of the vehicle though. If the dealer/seller wants to sell it, have an independent tech go through it.
There are not that many buyers for TM's, so demand is low and dealers have units on the lot longer than most other brands. You've not asked if the asking price is a good deal yet, so we don't know to offer any advice on that aspect.

It looks like someone tried to move the TM while the shells were up - and ran into something in the process. Thumbnails 1 & 2 show damage to the inner shell; 3,4, and 5 show considerable damage to the front shell. Several vertical creases are evident. Be sure to check the inside walls of both shells, on the street side. Any buckling of the inner shell walls would indicate (to me) more than cosmetic damage.

the asking price is
the asking price is 12,900
Inside the trailer the ceiling look good with no ripples or bubbles.
the walls look good but will go back and take a better look N pictures.
under looked clean 2 or 3 spots had a patch I will add a few pictures.(024-41-46-47)
one picture near the black bottom of a tank / pan more near the frame there is discoloring only there. pic's (039-42-43-45)
Plus another picture will show two holes 4" each one looks like its under the fridge and the other looks as a fan? Both have wire mesh covering it. Also an electric box? (019-21-29-30)
All your input so far are helpful.
I'm planning on taking a ladder for checking to see the roof. At that time I will check closer all the walls and floors and add more pictures if you can stand more.
Thanks again for all your help

I have a patch similar to this one under my TM. Not sure what the factory does during the original build, but if a patch continues under the frame, it had to be done at the factory.
The hole and fan are used to cool the refrigerator when the shells are closed. There is a switch inside to turn the 12v fan on, air is pulled in the hole and out through the dryer vent tube to pull heat from the absorption condenser. The electrical box under there is also normal.
Look for frayed wiring, damaged propane lines, and a biggie is look for any cracks or damage to the plumbing behind the left side tire. A past tire blowout can damage the sewer lines there. Run as many systems as you can. Everything is repairable, but stuff not operating affects the price.

That's certainly a plausible explanation. Had not thought of that due to no damage to the lower box.

As Mr. P mentioned, the last 4 pictures in your group of 13 - the screened holes and the electrical junction box - show exactly what should be there
In the second picture (-041) I see a rubber donut on the gray tank outlet, and a rubber sleeve and worm clamp on the pipe out of the gray tank. This suggests to me that the drain plumbing was destroyed, probably (but not necessarily) by a disintegrating tire. As long as these parts don't leak, there should be no problem.
The patched area on the skin may be an opening that was cut in order to replace the gray tank or some of the topside drain plumbing. I can't be sure, but again as long as there are no leaks, it shouldn't be a problem. Again as Mr P mentioned, the staples and caulk look like a factory patch. No home mechanic would use staples. If you look around under the TM, you will find other areas where the skin was cut out and "patched" as part of the normal build process. It is all OK.
Incidentally, the most thorough way to check for leaks in the gray water plumbing is to fill the gray tank overfull, until it starts to back up into the tub. If it doesn't leak then, it never will.

The NADA Guide lists a 2010 2720 base price at $13,750 to $16,850 and that is without any options. If the unit you're looking at is fully loaded then you can add about $2,500 to $3,500 to that base price. If every thing works and the damage is purely cosmetic then the price of $12,900 isn't to bad, but if you find more problems or if it needs major repairs then the price is probably to high.
