Default Sedona in mid March

What is Sedona like in mid-March? Thinking of going home from Spring Training via Sedona and eastern Utah.

in 2011, the temp range for Sedona was 47 on March 1st and 71 on Mar. 31st. Most days are in the 50-60's. Dry and sunny most days. Desert climate at night for sure... was there a few weeks ago in late Dec. and took a gamble that the weather would hold nice long enough for me and the wife to enjoy the activities for 10 days. Bet paid off very well. Very cold at night, cold in the morning till about 10am and then close to 50 all day till sundown and then cold again. The best aspect was it was dry. We brought our motorcyle and did day trips to surrounding points of interest. Read my post about Rancho Sedona, only park located in the city limits.

The only other park is Lo Lo Mei. Its somewhat isolated 1/2 way between Sedona and Cottonwood on 89a. I drove through it before I chose Rancho Sedona. Its clean, pretty, but no wifi, no TV and very little to no cell phone service. Not close enough to town for my needs. There was mention of another park but it was associated with the timeshare resort and those sales people are intense. It seemed everywhere I went in town I was approached by them. At DQ, at the tourist info kiosks, at dinner, at breakfast... its like I had a sign on my back that instead of kick me, it said ask me if I want to park my RV there for a few days to hear their pitch? with the economy being what it is, their pretty aggressive...

Can't say about the Weather but there are plenty of USFS campgrounds along 89A

Thanks! I can deal with chilly nights. Just don't want to be parked in a foot of snow.
