On 3023, what is this device on the front vent?

I have a 3023 and there is this black thing on the front ceiling vent. It feels like a rotary switch, but I don't see anything turn on or off when I turn it. Does anyone know what this is?

That should cut the lights on over the front bed......you might have to work the switches at the lights, also.

That is the master power switch for the lights under the front overhead cabinet. On the older TMs, it controls the side mounted elegant lights.
