Default Another New Owner

Just pulled into the driveway and set up my 2720 SL. Haven't camped since the kids were little but getting ready to retire and there's a lot we want to see. Hadn't planned on buying yet but one showed up in the paper so I looked, made an offer, and now it"s mine! And brave enough to do it while my wife is out of town. Hope she likes it as well as I do. I spent a lot of time here before I decided to take the plunge. Tons of great information. I'll probably have lot's of questions as I learn the ins and outs of TM so thanks for what I've learned already and for the info to come.

It looks right at home - your wife will love it when she sees it (yes, you are a brave individual)

Seriously, the driveway is a good, first time place to camp. That's what we did when we brought ours home. When we got a bit bolder we went to a nearby state park.

Good luck with your TM.

Looks like you are all set to party! We retired a year after we got our TrailManor and have been able to really enjoy traveling - thanks to our TrailManor and the wonderful people we have met over the past two years (especially at TrailBlazer Rallies).

I'm glad you have already discovered this forum and noticed how helpful it is to TrailManor owners! Welcome aboard!

While you're wife was away! Pretty bold move. You all will have a blast. I'm a bit jealous of the retirement though. Have fun. We can't wait to get ours on the road. We bought a 3124KS last fall so we haven't had it out as much as others. We are RVers from way back though- first with a Westfalia and then a 22' Rockwood Class C. With today's gas prices though, the TM is the only way to go.

As a new owner, one of the best investments you will ever make is to sign up as a Sponsor to this forum. Tons of valuable information available. Good luck with your new TM.

Didn't have much doubt that I would want to but since a trial is offered, thought I'd poke around a bit first. But I'm already convinced.

Good luck with your new TM, ours is also a 2720SL, a year old, used 11 times and we love it. It towed behind our Chevy Trailblazer like it wasn't there and we still got 16 mpg up and back to Gettysburg from central VA with the same mpg to and from Fort Wilderness at Disney World staying at or under 65 mph.
There is lots to get used to so sit in it and use it in your driveway it will become "Home" in no time.
