Default How to flush junk out of water heater?

Okay so while prepping for storage I drained everything and removed anode rod. Water drains out of water heater. But there is still some sediment in the water heater.

How do I flush this out? Details please.

Thanks

The only way is through the anode rod hole. You can either just shoot water in there with a garden hose OR buy the tool designed specifically to do this. It attaches to your hose and has a rather thin tube the water shoots out of. This tube actually sticks into the heater tank and leaves enough room for the water to flush out. Cheap, and it works well.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how it was done.
