Default TrailManor wins award

TrailManor was voted as a one of the best Folding Campers in Trailer Life's readers choice awards. It's nice to see they are popular. I want the Company to stay around for a while. Might help with resale value too.

Good to know, thanks.

How many others were in the category? Some insurance companies now classify a TM as a pure "travel trailer."

That's good to see, especially since most of the voting was done while the new TM Company was still building up steam in terms of across-the-board improvements. Bob and Cleo continue to make the product line even better, so things can only get better. Who knows - they may even add a screen door to the folding models!

The article showed that TM was tied with the Starcraft pop-up for 1st place. The next three went to Chalet, Forest River, and A-liner. Chalet and A-liner are triangular pop-ups. Forest River could refer to their conventional pop-up, to a hybrid with fold-out ends, or their Flagstaff triangular model.

I'll defer to you long-time TM owners, but does a Trailer Life "readers' award" really mean much (personal opinions range from the ridiculous to the sublime - just watch Watter's World interviews sometime), especially when the TM ties with a mere 'tent-camper'? That just excites me to no end.

Agreed, at least TM did place in their poll. Don't get me wrong, I have a high regard for the 'design functionality' of the TM, and with a little more attention to QA, these units could be bullet proof - to match their rather lofty price point!

Again, everyone has an opinion, this is just mine.

I agree, I guess it is good visibility, but not exactly an Emmy or Pulitzer Prize?

Suspect they need a good marketeer.

Did you ever notice that J. D. Power always has something good to say about something/somebody.

I like some of those other "award" categories too, like "top toilet chemical brands" or top three truck brands for towing, Ford, Dodge, Chevy. How many other brands are there except Toyota and Nissan? (And those two don't have suitable models for the larger trailers.)
