It never fails that you forget something or run out of something on a trip.
I took a small clipboard, with a small tablet and pen, using velcro mounts attached it on the inside of a cupboard door. As we come across items we forgot or ran out of we would write it down. Forgotten items go on one sheet and anything else on another. At the end of the trip we would place the forgotten items list in the silverware drawer and review it as we pack for a future trip.
If we were to go shopping while camping you can tear the sheets off as ready made shopping list.

Good Idea!

Not much for us to forget when we outfitted the TM last year we did as was suggested here along with some of our own ideas.

1. We purchased dishes, TravaSaks, silverware, towels etc so that the TM has all needed supplies ready for a trip.
2. Since our TM is setup in backyard with electric & water all the time we have a dedicated section in our basement for the softener, cooler, chairs, grill etc that goes on floor in the TM.
3. We do have to get Computers, Clothes & food ready from house.

We are still learning but this has been a good system so far & we haven't forgotten anything as of yet. Outfitting the TM with separate everything has been GREAT although expensive. We did think about a checklist on our computer or phone but so far it just isn't needed. Since very little is shared between the TM & our house there is allot less to forget.

It also is a big help that we have the room for the TM to be setup like we are camping all the time. My wife likes to go out & keep it clean & just sit in it fairly regularly. Don't laugh but we even go out to TM sometimes & eat supper. LOL
