2004 2720SL with photos
We ordered our new 2720SL TM in May and just picked it up this week. We are extremely impressed with it. The reason it took more time to arrive was a shortage of the newly-styled bumpers. I will attempt to attach a photo of the bumper
Enjoy!
We are off to the Maine coast on Tuesday. Thanks for all the great ideas on this web page! My $12 check is in the mail.

From your photo I see another change also, the power cord has been relocated so that you can plug it with the shells down.
Thank you, just one question, where do you store the sewer hose and related equiptment? If in the bumper then that is a very limited use of that space.
Over all I think they "did good".

Re: 2004 2720SL with photos
Windbreaker,
I tried to upload several more photos of the bumper, but couldn't do it together. I will try to attach it now. There is room inside the bumper for the sewer hose. It takes up the center section of the bumper with the left area for the power cord and the right for whatever else you want to stash in there. At least the sewer hose is isolated from the other stuff and you don't have to deal with those stubborn rubber square end caps. They also put an outside light over the hookup side. This would be really nice if you have to set up in the dark. There is also a smoke detector inside, which our 1998 didn't have.

What did they do with the spare tire ??? I like the idea of the relocation of the power cord. Is the cover made of plastic?

Hi,
The cover is a plastic, and it is lightweight. The spare tier is located underneath the trailer on the right of the steps. It is on a curved pipe-looking holder that pulls forward with the tire wing-nutted to it. We haven't had to try this yet and hope it will be a pretty long time till we need it. Smookie

Re: 2004 2720SL with photos
Can you remove the new bumper cover with the TM closed? With my '02, I can do it, but it's hard. I carry some of my bigger tools in there, along with levelling blocks and sewer connectors, and it is handy to be able to get at them.
Inquiring minds want to know ...
