Squeaky Entrance door
Happy New Year All! We have an annoying squeak in our trailer door. We have tried Silicone spray and WD-40 with no results. If anyone could give us a suggestion to try so that we can stop hearing the prelude to the Inner Sactum mysteries, we'd appreciate it. We live in beautiful Missouri - a wonderful place to camp. Thanks. Northwoods

Re:Squeaky Entrance door
If you separate the door halves, and open and close them independently, do you still get the squeak? If so, you have a hinge problem in the squeaky half. You may be able to drive out the hinge pin, and clean it and replace it. If not, the problem is alignment between the halves. Denny-A's great tutorial on door alignment may help. Either way, it tells you where to concentrate your efforts.

Re:Squeaky Entrance door
Sorry, I should have been more specific.
I'm no fan of the search engine on this board, but a quick search on "Denny_A" and "alignment" points you to

Take a look at his tutorial - it truly is excellent. Hope it helps you.

Bill provided the link, but I had long-ago pulled the tutorial pics. :-X Not to worry. I just finished reassembling the pics and words, and it's ba-a-a-a-ck now!
If you tried earlier and came up empty, try again and it should be a up-n-runnin'.
