Propane Tanks

I am not an owner yet and have a question. Where are the propane tank stored on trailers with a slide out?

Although I don't own a slide TM, they are still stowed on the tongue. But the are horizontal, so that the slide can go over the tanks.

As kidkraz says, the tanks are horizontal. But "stored" is kinda the wrong word. Just like conventional vertical tanks, they are "carried" on the trailer A-frame, fastened down, with hoses already connected. No need to do anything to them until they need filling.
