Where did you find your "indicators"? Were they expensive?
The only pressure monitoring device I was aware of, were the ones that clamp inside the wheel (when changing tires) and transmit a pressure signal while rolling. They auto-shutoff when stopped for more than a few minutes. Battery life of sensors is about 3 years, but the system is three or four hundred bucks!
Too rich for my blood.
But I wouldn't mind a little extra "low tech" insurance...
