As most of you know, we have been having terrible storms and rain here in Santa Cruz County.
Seacliff SB Campground is trashed. There are only the bathrooms left (could only see one), the fences that keep people from falling off the walkway are mostly gone. Utilities are ruined, as well as the parking lot. The pier is severely damaged and the locals here think that the State will not fork out the money to rebuild it. The upper parking lot is closed so we haven't been able to walk along there to get the whole picture.
I'm glad that DH and I got to live here as long as we
have and enjoy that beach and pier. Used to go fishing with my son out there, but it's pretty much gone now.
