I believe the Pathfinder is a Toyota product. You might do a search on this site for that vehicle as I think it has been discussed. If I remember right, recent models come with a larger power train (option?).
Now if you really are talking about Chevrolet, I am pulling with a GMC Envoy which is a twin to the Trailblazer. This has a straight 6 and does a great job in my opinion. I don't know as it would be ideal at all for the Rockies, but here in Arizona on 6% grades, I can hold 50MPH with my loaded TM.
