If you flip the axle the spindles would be pointed upward into the wheel wells and the trailer would be laying on its belly.

I think you’re referring to moving an axle from above leaf springs to below? TMs don’t have leaf springs (apparently they did waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay way way back in the olden times).

But like Bill said, lots of folks have added a lift kit. HOWEVER… TM now uses a Lippert axle that mounts differently compared to the Dexter axle that was used for over 20 years. I don’t know if their current lift kit will work on older TMs? But they do have as large as 5” or 7” now (used on the 2518).
