I frequently go to star gazing parties where they insist on red light only. The next one is in August before the eclipse. I'll at least be bringing some red flashlights, if I don't get time to wire red LEDs into the Trailmanor. I got a roll of 5000 red LEDs for about $15 a while back, they just need current limiting resistors (I think 470 ohms) in series to work at 12 volts.
