We have Eazlift hitch with 1000lb bars. I reconfigured the hitch from towing our other trailer, a Layton 190 LT.
Towing with the same veh., 2008 Toyota 4 Runner V 8, I find the TM tows much smoother than the Layton.
I am still adjusting but on our last trip I had the spring bars in the #4 link, since returning home I have moved the hitch down one hole and moved the ball back slighltly.
I found I was towing the TM with the nose ever so slightly up and this is my attempt at getting it dead level, I have not hooked up yet to seek level ground to check it out.
I may be able to move to #3 link, but if not it was still very smooth except for a streatch of concrete around Ashville N.C..
