I too use a standard household shower curtain and had a friend shorten it for me. I removed the ceiling track and use a pvc rod for the curtain rod.
I ran a short piece of thin cable on the ends and hook it to the wall with 3M Command hooks. I love it. I use the curtain hooks with bearings on them, works like a champ.
