Default Shower Curtain Mod

Ok, first off, let me preface this with the fact that I don't know how to sew, but I now see benefits of being able to, now that we have a TM! So, I decided to try to do it today (I've had a sewing machine forever but was afraid to even try to bust it out). After figuring out how to get the thread in and understanding the parts of the machine, I shortened my IKEA shower curtain and made cuts so that it fit better around the faucet, didn't hang so long and fit better towards the back.

The hemmed edge is definitely not pretty, and I realized that I had no idea how to sew the 90 degree corners, but hey, it's a $10 polyester curtain, so it's good enough! I know it's a bit dumb, but I'm super proud that I was able to customize it for our TM! My boys tried out the shower tonight, and it seemed to keep the water in for the most part (they are 6 and 8, so one of them was able to spray it out of the tub still). And I semi-learned a new skill!
