I think that the market place demands that you pretty much get what you pay for. This may be a good time to get some of those Costco batteries. It seems that their prices have not kept up with the price of lead YET. Probably due to current inventory being built at the older lead prices.
My favorite are the Trojan batteries but their supply hasn't kept up with demand and the lead prices are reflected in the available inventory.
