In my experience, there was very little difference among manuals for the different models, especially in the earlier days. A 2002 manual - or I think there is a 2004 manual - should work fine. As you can see in the 2002 manual that is available in the Library, the manual doesn't specify, or even mention a model or a year. It is generic.
