It certainly looks great in your garage! Please keep us posted on your first camping trip, and don't forget to take the camera and takes lots of pictures!
We started our kids camping when they were babies; DS was always OK camping, but DD had a few trying times. Once we got the TM she was pretty much always a happy camper (beats a tent and a pit toilet any day
). Some of our best times together as a family have been our camping trips; even when things went wrong (blowouts, etc.). We've always been able to make do and the kids learned from those experiences that you just have to get through those days and then it gets better, and sometimes wonderful!
