What I am saying is that the two 12v outlets in my TM are type A (European) but most devices sold in the US are type B.
I had a few splitters like
this in my odds and ends box (have a number of boxes for different things I find on clearance or are left over from something else).
Took two and sanded the barrels down a bit to fit in the socket (half a mm is Not Much) and just plug normal things into the extensions.
This is the type of thing TM (and small companies in general) does occasionly but you would think it would be noticed. Of course if someone bought enough panels for a few decades of TMs then....
Heck most people do not even know there is a type A and a type B.
