We had ours totaled too (but we kept it) and my husband and I looked up ads for older, well-kept TM's and printed them off. We also had a file full of receipts showing the improvements we've made to it. New this, new that, etc. He is a salesman and he has a way of persuading people over to his way of thinking.

Sorry to hear about your loss, it would break my heart if ours burned up. We've put so much love and work into it.
