I too have been following this thread with a great deal of interest . . . . . . . permit me to toss out some kudos to all who have been involved:
What a pleasure / treasure it is to follow the course of a debate in which varying opinions or points of view have been so thoughtfully and intelligently (and politely, by the way!) articulated. After all . . . . . . . we are ALL individuals, not generic, robotic automatons; and as such, we must all operate within the limits of our own personal comfort zones. Still, my feeling is that no one of the discussion participants went away without taking a little of the other fellow's point of view to heart.
How pleasant it is that here, at least, we can apparently "AGREE TO DISAGREE!" . . . . . . . wouldn't it be wonderful if more of the world would fall into step and act accordingly??
