Yesterday I discovered why it is so hard to hit the holes, to hang these cabinets.

If you look just above the wall hanger bracket, you will see a wall molding that is about 1/4" thick. The hanging bracket is only about 1/16" thick. That means that the molding is blocking about 3/16" of the bracket opening.

I discovered this because I bought some "Z" mounting brackets to replace my factory brackets and they didn't work at all because of that molding.

My solution was to buy a bunch of thick 1/4" washers and put them between the wall mounting bracket and the wall. This put the entry level for the cabinet bracket on the same plain as the wall bracket and the cabinet now (literally) falls right into place every time.
