I'm having a lot of trouble finding a decent rim. I'm pretty much settled on 225/75/r15 Goodyear Endurance (there's a sale right now). I can't seem to find many rims that are rated to take the maximum load that the tire can take. Not that I'm going to max out on the weights, but if the tire is rated to take up to over 2500#, I want the rim to come close to that or exceed it.
I see lots of painted white rims, but sometimes there are no load ratings on the rims at all. What brands are you getting for rims?
