I'm trying to figure out how the freezer can work so well, but the refrig can fail. There is only one cooling mechanism in the unit, and obviously it works as intended, so I don't think burner cleaning will help much. Perhaps the refrig door isn't sealing well, and the cold is escaping. Have you done the dollar bill test all around? A new door seal might be in order.
