Thanks for the reply Bill. I have gotten a bit more experience with the problem. Overnight on AC set at 5 all is well in fridge and freezer when we load and head out to camp in very warm for Colorado daytime mountain temps (high 80's). Gas ignition at the campsite goes well into the green. The freezer keeps stuff frozen, but the refrigerator section does not keep things cool, even though I turn up to max. I have tried to get to the burner nozzle to get it cleaned and possibly replace parts, but unable to figure out how to do this. My fridge is the Dometic RM2333.
