I think it took only one or two campouts for me to realize that the money they wanted for a tongue jack suddenly wasn't as high as it once seemed. I was able to convince myself it was now a neccessity vice a luxury. Luckily we were camping 5 miles from the dealer and an hour later I was there and back, installed the jack and was ready for my challenge.
