Several here have made and published checklists, and I thought I'd share my own version. It is essentially a modified version of what was already posted, with several items added, and many removed. The main purpose of my checklist was for safety when towing, preventing damage when closing, and ensuring nothing is left behind at a campsite. For this reason, I made checklists related to towing in larger font. I then laminated and wire bound them all and keep them in the door pocket of the truck. The other checklists were good, but I felt for towing, especially for short stops, I wanted something quick and easy for safety checks.
I'm not posting this to convince anyone to use this. Rather, I'm encouraging others, especially those new to the forum and towing, to dig up some of the older checklists and make your own. Consider making a short version in large font for critical quick checks.
