Dano, I think the dry weight is the total weight, or UVW (unloaded vehicle weight). So with the 400 lbs. tongue weight, you probably have 2265 lbs. on the axle. Beware though, I think that weight is before options.....the AC, awning, microwave, etc. can add up. My 2720 weights 3400 lbs. almost camping ready.....but no personal items, groceries, or water are included in that.
