There is a KOA on the north side of Flagstaff that is wooded and reasonably nice.
The Riordan Mansion is worth a visit.
The Lowell Observatory is fascinating. There are a number of telescopes and other facilities there, including the telescope used to find Pluto, and the one that was used to study and map the presumed "canals" on Mars. It is an easy paved walk among these sites. In general, there will be a tour guide to describe everything to you, and you can look through some of the major telescopes.
Like many in the west, Flagstaff is an outdoors-oriented town. If you can split your group into hikers and non-hikers, the hikers have many additional choices.
When are you going? Flagstaff is at high elevation, and the autumn cold will set in early.
