my 2 cents... I was towing a 2720sl with a 6cy tacoma (auto).. the truck pulled fine on flat grounds.. but when i went up to Mammoth the truck had to work hard to maintain about 45mph or so... i just traded my truck for a 8cy tundra and this truck tows it very easily.. although calif is not as steep as colorado .. the upgrade has made towing much more enjoyable.
