Yes, you got it. i drilled out the factory rivets. Transfered those holes in the factory piano hinge to the new slide and then drilled them. I then reinstalled new rivets into the old piano hinge/new slide and used the factory screws on the other side. Make sure you get a slide that has a lever to take the slide apart.
